They are native to The Contiguous United States, Canada, Western North America, and United States. They have simple, broad leaves, white flowers, and drupes. Flowers are visited by Camberwell beauty, Red-winged Wave, Andrena quercina, and Ridings' or Mountain Forester. Individuals can grow to 80 feet.
