Habitat and Location: Damp area along a stream and small water catchment for a new resort. Mile 1 Natmataung NP.
Behaviour: Playback used. Bird circled the vicinity, several times around the recordist moving through the undergrowth and occasionally popping up for a peek. In retrospect, I could have been disturbing an unseen nest as this is breeding season for many of the residents.
The bird was then joined by a Pygmy Wren-babbler XC133361, and the two of them continued for several minutes as a duet, as if advertising to the other a claim to the same choice spot XC133362.
