Aloe (Aloe) is a genus of herb in the family Asphodelaceae. They are listed in cites appendix ii. They have capsule fruit. Flowers are visited by Hylaeus, Colibri coruscans, Apis mellifera, and Calypte anna. Individuals can grow to 1.5 m.
