Basal leaves usually form a flat basal rosette; leaves are spathulate to fan-shaped and 4–7 mm long. Cauline leaves are alternate, with 2 acute lobes. Flowerheads are 1-sided and 5–10-flowered; the peduncle is usually about 2 cm long, but can be to 50 cm long. Flowers are white to pink. Flowering is from spring to early summer.
