Spirula spirula (Little Post Horn Squid) is a species of Spirulidae in the family Spirulidae. They are native to Indian Ocean, Pacific Ocean, Atlantic Ocean, and New Zealand Exclusive Economic Zone. Dead Little Post Horn Squid form shallow marine sediments. They are nocturnal carnivores. Individuals can grow to 6 cm. They have parental care (female provides care). They rely on swimming to move around.
