Montipora peltiformis is a species of cnidarians in the family staghorn corals. They are listed as near threatened by IUCN and in cites appendix ii. Dead Montipora peltiformis form shallow marine sediments. Montipora peltiformis form marine reefs. They have alternation of generations, asexual reproduction, and sexual reproduction; they are broadcast spawners. They have parental care (symbiont inheritance). They are sessile animals.
