Colonies are massive either rounded or hillocky. Corallites are cerioid, without columellae and with Pavona-like septo-costae. Polyps are extended only at night. Colour: pale green, yellow or brown with darker calices. Abundance: rare. (Veron, 1986 ) Rounded, massive colonies. Corallites 1-5 mm across, with very fine septa which are continuous between adjacent corallites and drop steeply into the calices. Columella absent. Colour: brown, yellow or pale green. Habitat: shallow reefs. (Richmond, 1997)
