Description: Bathynomus giganteus (Giant Isopod) feeding on some bait. A specimen obtained in a trap shortly after this video was taken was identified as Bathynomus giganteus/ Milne-Edwards, 1879 (Isopoda,Cirolaridae) common for the Atlantic and reported previously for Venezuela.
It was identified by the muesum in Caracas, Venezuela.
