Anadara chemnitzii (Philippi 1851)

Anadara chemnitzii is a species of mussels in the family ark shells. They are associated with freshwater habitat. Dead Anadara chemnitzii form shallow marine sediments. Individuals can grow to 33 mm. They have sexual reproduction. They are facultatively mobile animals.
