Modiolus auriculatus (Ear Mussel) is a species of mussels in the family Mytilidae. They are native to Mozambican Exclusive Economic Zone, Kermadec Islands, and Australian Exclusive Economic Zone. Dead Ear Mussel form shallow marine sediments. Adult Ear Mussel form marine reefs. Individuals can grow to 7.5 cm. They have sexual reproduction. They are sessile animals.
