Lyrocardium anaxium is a species of mussels in the family Cardiidae. They are native to Zululand. Dead Lyrocardium anaxium form shallow marine sediments. They are surficial modifiers. Individuals can grow to 44 mm. They have sexual reproduction. They are facultatively mobile animals.
