Chionoecetes opilio (Snow Crab) is a species of decapods in the family Oregoniidae. They are native to the Palearctic and The Nearctic. They are solitary, diurnal detritivores. They have parental care (paternal care and female provides care). They rely on drag powered swimming to move around.
