Echeneis naucrates (Australian Remora) is a species of ray-finned fishes in the family remoras. They are associated with freshwater habitat. They are native to Atlantic Ocean, Pacific Ocean, and Indian Ocean. They are carnivores. Individuals can grow to 110 cm. They have sexual reproduction. Reproduction is iteroparous and oviparous. They rely on swimming to move around.
