Scardinius erythrophthalmus (Rudd) is a species of ray-finned fishes in the family Leuciscidae. They are associated with freshwater habitat. They are native to Serbia And Montenegro, Belgium, Lithuania, France, Slovakia, Georgia, Moldova, Ireland, Estonia, Switzerland, Denmark, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Turkey, Italy, Iran, Czech Republic, Liechtenstein, Belarus, Afghanistan, Latvia, Austria, Croatia, Russia, Bulgaria, Poland, Armenia, Slovenia, Hungary, United Kingdom, Germany, Ukraine, Romania, Albania, The Netherlands, Azerbaijan, Finland, and Uzbekistan. Individuals can grow to 61.7 cm. They have sexual reproduction.
