Cirsium scariosum (Meadow Thistle) is a species of biennial herb in the family Asteraceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Canada and The Contiguous United States. They have simple, broad leaves and achenes. Flowers are visited by California Bumble Bee, Sunflower Chimney Bee, Black Tail Bumble Bee, and Vosnesensky Bumble Bee.
