Cirsium discolor (Field Thistle) is a species of biennial herb in the family Asteraceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to The Contiguous United States and Canada. They have simple, broad leaves and achenes. Flowers are visited by Two-spotted Bumblebee, Melissodes desponsus, Red-belted Bumble Bee, and Megachile montivaga. Individuals can grow to 1 m.
