Bidens connata (Purplestem Beggarticks) is a species of annual herb in the family Asteraceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Canada, The Contiguous United States, and North America. They have simple, broad leaves and yellow flowers. Flowers are visited by (page not found), Physoconops sylvosus, Scotiptera, and Campsomeris. Individuals can grow to 3.2 feet.
