Sida urens (Tropical Fanpetals) is a species of shrub in the family mallows. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Pernambuco, Minas Gerais, Pantanal, RondôNia, Alagoas, Amazônia, U.S. Virgin Islands, Mata Atlântica, Santa Catarina, Pampa, Rio De Janeiro, Cerrado, Mato Grosso Do Sul, Distrito Federal, SãO Paulo, Puerto Rico, Bahia, Rio Grande Do Sul, Paraná, and GoiáS. They have simple, broad leaves. Individuals can grow to 0.59 m.
