Sida urens (Tropical Fanpetals) is a species of shrub in the family mallows. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Cerrado, RondôNia, Minas Gerais, Rio Grande Do Sul, Bahia, Pantanal, Distrito Federal, Pernambuco, Rio De Janeiro, Puerto Rico, Amazônia, Alagoas, Mata Atlântica, Mato Grosso Do Sul, Paraná, Pampa, GoiáS, SãO Paulo, U.S. Virgin Islands, and Santa Catarina. They have simple, broad leaves. Individuals can grow to 0.59 m.
