Cerastium arvense (Field Chickweed) is a species of perennial herb in the family carpetweeds. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Western North America, The Contiguous United States, Eastern North America, Alaska, Canada, Saint-Pierre Et Miquelon, and Greenland. They have simple, broad leaves and capsule fruit. Flowers are visited by Thecla schryveri, blow flies, Andrena nigrocaerulea, and Caenohalictus. Individuals can grow to 0.095 m.
