They are native to Mato Grosso Do Sul, Amazônia, The Contiguous United States, Roraima, Pampa, Eastern North America, Puerto Rico, Rio Grande Do Sul, North America, Mato Grosso, Canada, Cerrado, and Pantanal. They have simple, broad leaves. Individuals can grow to 0.091 m.
