Pteria levitata (Iredale 1939)

Pteria levitata is a species of mussels in the family Pteriidae. They are native to New Zealand Exclusive Economic Zone, Kermadec Islands, and Coral Sea. Dead Pteria levitata form shallow marine sediments. They have sexual reproduction.
