Hexagonellina is a suborder of moss animals. There are 431 species of Hexagonellina, in 38 genera and 5 families. This suborder has been around since the middle ordovician epoch. It includes groups like Cystodictyonidae, Goniocladiidae, and Hexagonellidae. Dead Hexagonellina form shallow marine sediments. They are sessile animals.
