Chaetopappa ericoides is a species of perennial herb in the family Asteraceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to The Contiguous United States and North America. They have simple, broad leaves and achenes. Flowers are visited by Euptoieta claudia, Callophrys gryneus siva, and Chlosyne leanira. Individuals can grow to 0.11 m.
