They are native to Saint-Pierre Et Miquelon, United States, Greenland, The Contiguous United States, Canada, Alaska, and Eastern North America. They have simple, broad leaves and white flowers. Flowers are visited by Honey bee, Negro ant, Andrena similis, and White-tailed bumblebee. Individuals can grow to 1 feet.
