Tabebuia aurea (Caribbean Trumpet Tree) is a species of tree in the family bignonias. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Mato Grosso, Amapá, Caatinga, GoiáS, Minas Gerais, Pantanal, Ceará, Pernambuco, Amazônia, Sergipe, Maranhao, SãO Paulo, The Neotropics, Piauí, Cerrado, Mato Grosso Do Sul, Bahia, Distrito Federal, Mata Atlântica, ParaíBa, Rio Grande Do Norte, Pará, Alagoas, Tocantins, and Paraná. They have simple, broad leaves and capsule fruit.
