Iris sanguinea (Blood Iris) is a species of perennial herb in the family Iridaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They have simple, broad leaves and capsule fruit. Flowers are visited by Old World Swallowtail, Bombus diversus, and Bombus hypocrita.
