Diervilla lonicera (Northern Bush Honeysuckle) is a species of shrub in the family Caprifoliaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Canada, United States, Eastern North America, The Contiguous United States, and Saint-Pierre Et Miquelon. They have simple, broad leaves, purple flowers, and capsule fruit. Flowers are visited by Common Eastern Bumblebee, Yellow Bumblebee, Hummingbird Clearwing, and Pure Green Augochlora. Individuals can grow to 2.4 feet.
