They are native to North America, The Contiguous United States, Western North America, United States, and Canada. They have simple, broad leaves, white flowers, and drupes. Flowers are visited by NO NAME!, White-Spotted Sable Moth, Eristalis anthophorina, and Northern Cloudywing. Individuals can grow to 3 feet.
