Brosimum guianense (Guiana Brosimum) is a species of shrub in the family Moraceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Caatinga, Rio De Janeiro, Mata Atlântica, Amapá, Amazônia, SãO Paulo, Pará, ParaíBa, Mato Grosso, RondôNia, Pernambuco, Tocantins, Maranhao, Rio Grande Do Norte, The Neotropics, Espirito Santo, Cerrado, Sergipe, Minas Gerais, Roraima, Acre (Brazil), GoiáS, Alagoas, and Bahia. They have simple, broad leaves. Individuals can grow to 21 m.
