Potentilla verna (Spring Cinquefoil) is a species of perennial herb in the family Rosaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to The Contiguous United States, Canada, and Greenland. They have simple, broad leaves and achenes. Flowers are visited by Tropinota hirta and Grizzled skipper. Individuals can grow to 0.15 m.
