Cirsium occidentale (Cobwebby Thistle) is a species of biennial herb in the family Asteraceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to The Contiguous United States. They have simple, broad leaves and achenes. Flowers are visited by Acmaeodera linsleyi, Pale Swallowtail, Honey bee, and Alexandra's Sulphur.
