Forsythia intermedia (Showy Forsythia) is a species of shrub in the family Oleaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They have simple, broad leaves and capsule fruit. Flowers are visited by Harlequin Ladybird. Individuals can grow to 2.3 m.
