Inga marginata is a species of tree in the family legumes. They are native to Mata Atlântica, Minas Gerais, Amapá, Ceará, Rio Grande Do Sul, Mato Grosso Do Sul, Bahia, Espirito Santo, Santa Catarina, Acre (Brazil), Pará, Distrito Federal, Rio De Janeiro, Cerrado, Amazônia, Mato Grosso, RondôNia, SãO Paulo, ParaíBa, GoiáS, and Paraná. Flowers are visited by Thyridia psidii, Ctenucha jonesi, Dircenna dero, and Episcada hymenaea. Individuals can grow to 28 m.
