Varronia curassavica (Black Sage) is a species of shrub in the family Boraginaceae. They are climbers. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Pará, ParaíBa, Bahia, Rio Grande Do Sul, Maranhao, Tocantins, Alagoas, GoiáS, Ceará, Santa Catarina, Mata Atlântica, Amapá, Paraná, Espirito Santo, Pernambuco, Minas Gerais, Rio De Janeiro, Roraima, Caatinga, Amazônia, Sergipe, SãO Paulo, Pampa, Mato Grosso Do Sul, Mato Grosso, Piauí, and Cerrado. They have simple, broad leaves.
