Aristotelia chilensis (Maquei) is a species of shrub in the family Elaeocarpaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Oceania continent (Australia, NZ and islands). They have simple, broad leaves and berries. Flowers are visited by Ruizantheda mutabilis, Cadeguala albopilosa, Diphaglossa gayi, and Allochrotus poecilus. Individuals can grow to 11 m.
