Tapirira guianensis is a species of tree in the family Anacardiaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Roraima, Minas Gerais, Espirito Santo, RondôNia, Amapá, Ceará, Mato Grosso Do Sul, Caatinga, Maranhao, Cerrado, The Neotropics, Piauí, Mato Grosso, Pará, ParaíBa, Pantanal, Distrito Federal, Rio Grande Do Norte, Tocantins, Rio De Janeiro, GoiáS, Amazônia, Mata Atlântica, Acre (Brazil), Pernambuco, Paraná, Sergipe, SãO Paulo, Bahia, Santa Catarina, and Alagoas. They have compound, broad leaves and drupes. Individuals can grow to 19 m.
