Ligustrum ovalifolium (California Privet) is a species of shrub in the family Oleaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They have simple, broad leaves, white flowers, and fleshy fruit. Flowers are visited by Criorhina berberina, Argynnis, white admiral, and Volucella inflata. Individuals can grow to 16 feet.
