Callicarpa americana (American Beautyberry) is a species of shrub in the family Lamiaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to The Contiguous United States, Eastern North America, and United States. They have simple, broad leaves and blue flowers. Flowers are visited by Halictus ligatus, Common Little Leaf-cutter Bee, Honey bee, and Lasioglossum tarponense. Individuals can grow to 6 feet.
