Chilopsis linearis is a species of shrub in the family bignonias. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to The Contiguous United States, North America, and United States. They have simple, broad leaves, purple flowers, and capsule fruit. Flowers are visited by Trichodes ornatus, Convergent Lady Beetle, White-lined Sphinx, and Calypte costae. Individuals can grow to 8.2 m.
