Chaenactis douglasii is a species of biennial herb in the family Asteraceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to The Contiguous United States, Canada, and Western North America. They have simple, broad leaves and white flowers. Flowers are visited by Lapposyrphus lapponicus and Dianthidium subparvum. Individuals can grow to 1.6 feet.
