Schaefferia frutescens (Florida Boxwood) is a species of shrub in the family Celastraceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Islands, The Contiguous United States, and The Americas. They have simple, broad leaves and drupe. Individuals can grow to 12 m.
