Shepherdia canadensis (Russet Buffaloberry) is a species of shrub in the family Elaeagnaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to United States, Alaska, Western North America, The Contiguous United States, Canada, and North America. They have simple, broad leaves and yellow flowers. Flowers are visited by twospotted lady beetle, flower flies, and dagger flies and balloon flies. Individuals can grow to 6 feet.
