Cucurbita maxima (Buttercup Squash) is a species of annual herb in the family Cucurbitaceae. They are climbers. They are native to The Neotropics. They have simple, broad leaves. Flowers are visited by Common Eastern Bumblebee, Pruinose Squash Bee, Honey bee, and Black Tail Bumble Bee. Individuals can grow to 3.3 m.
