Patersonia occidentalis is a SW Australian species. It is waterwise and hardy, blooming in spring to early summer.Like all patersinia species it has 3 petals and 3 anthers, hence its unusual appearence.

Lots of flowers are in bloom in West Australia, although they say it is a dry year.
