Perennial, herbaceous, cespitose, much branched. Leaves oblong, spreading, 3-6 mm. long ; sepals short, obtuse ; corolla-segments yellow, lanceolate, acute, united at base ; scale minute.
Type locality : Near the city of San Luis Potosi, Mexico. Distribution : Known only from the type locality.
