Actaea racemosa (Black Baneberry) is a species of perennial herb in the family Ranunculaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Canada, The Contiguous United States, and Eastern North America. They have simple, broad leaves. Flowers are visited by Confusing Bumblebee, Common Eastern Bumblebee, Aerial yellowjacket, and Two-spotted Bumblebee.
