Heliopsis helianthoides (Smooth Oxeye) is a species of perennial herb in the family Asteraceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to The Contiguous United States, Canada, and South America. They have simple, broad leaves. Flowers are visited by Stelis louisae, Bombus impatiens, Pseudopanurgus rugosus, and Triepeolus remigatus. Individuals can grow to 1.3 m.
