Boehmeria cylindrica (Smallspike False Nettle) is a species of shrub in the family Urticaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Pernambuco, Paraná, Cerrado, Rio De Janeiro, GoiáS, Mata Atlântica, Caatinga, Maranhao, RondôNia, Mato Grosso Do Sul, The Contiguous United States, Eastern North America, Sergipe, Distrito Federal, Alagoas, Rio Grande Do Sul, SãO Paulo, Canada, Piauí, Mato Grosso, Pantanal, Bahia, Ceará, Rio Grande Do Norte, Minas Gerais, Puerto Rico, Santa Catarina, Espirito Santo, North America, and ParaíBa. They have simple, broad leaves, yellow flowers, and achenes. Flowers are visited by Polistes bellicosus. Individuals can grow to 3.9 feet.
