Starfern

Hemionitis palmata (Starfern) is a species of perennial herb in the family Pteridaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Mata Atlântica, Pernambuco, RondôNia, Alagoas, Puerto Rico, Amazônia, Pará, U.S. Virgin Islands, Mato Grosso, Ceará, Bahia, and Sergipe. They have simple, broad leaves. They have alternation of generations.
