Phlebodium aureum (Golden Polypody) is a species of perennial herb in the family Polypodiaceae. They are native to Minas Gerais, Rio De Janeiro, Santa Catarina, Pernambuco, Tocantins, Pará, Mata Atlântica, ParaíBa, SãO Paulo, Rio Grande Do Sul, Espirito Santo, Mato Grosso Do Sul, Puerto Rico, Roraima, Cerrado, Distrito Federal, Ceará, Alagoas, U.S. Virgin Islands, Bahia, Paraná, Amazônia, Mato Grosso, GoiáS, The Contiguous United States, and Maranhao. They have alternation of generations.
